North Iowa Transition Center: How to Help

NITC appreciates the support provided from family members, neighbors, and the community throughout the years. Without this support, we could not fulfill our mission of assisting persons with mental illness attain self-sufficiency.

NITC is a 501(c)3 private, non-profit agency. Contributions are deductible for income tax purposes, to the extent allowed by law. A letter of acknowledgement will be sent to all donors.

Donations that assist consumers get established in their own apartments are most helpful, noted on the "wish list."

Financial donations are also appreciated. Donations received are applied in various ways to benefit the clients, as recommended by NITC's Advisory Council. Recent purchases made with donation money include a drinking fountain, a display rack for educational materials, a gazebo, and cleaning kits.
